On the occasion of the premier of Frieze Seoul, Blum & Poe is pleased to present a focused selection of work that provides a glimpse into the gallery’s nearly thirty years of programming. Artists such as Susumu Koshimizu exemplify Blum & Poe’s ongoing commitment to championing pioneering figures who continue to expand the art historical narrative. Newer additions to the roster such as Asuka Anastacia Ogawa and Lauren Quin typify more recent innovations within visual culture. As part of the first iteration of Frieze Seoul, this presentation allows viewers both new and seasoned to glean the gallery’s esteemed history and discover its latest contributions to the trajectory of contemporary art.
