This past week marked the opening of Thirty Years: Written with a Splash of Blood at BLUM, a milestone exhibition and celebration of the gallery's thirtieth anniversary. Co-curated by Founder, Tim Blum and postwar Japanese art historian Mika Yoshitake, the exhibition is an intergenerational survey of Japanese art from the 1960’s to present day, which will take shape across three installments at Blum's Los Angeles, Tokyo, and New York outposts.
