As the estate's first artist-in-residence, Linder immersed herself in the life of Chatsworth House's 500-year history. The artist has created four installations in response to the historic space, exploring the female voice in the centenary year of the Act of Representation. Linder imbues the Painted hall, State Bedchamber, Old Master Drawings Lobby and Sculpture Gallery with new meaning, incorporating scent, sound, and visuals.
