Linder Napkins
These printed napkins were designed by Linder for House of Voltaire.
Linder is internationally renowned for exploring gender performativity and the commodification of the body through her photomontages, performances, and radical feminism. Her work examines the role of women, both past and present, by combining imagery that portrays women’s sexuality and domesticity to openly criticize conventional female roles and representation. She culls these materials from contemporary and vintage hardcore pornography publications, large-scale calendars showing idyllic English gardens, as well as automobile, culinary, and fashion magazines.
House of Voltaire commissions and sells unique artworks, limited edition prints, homewares, objects, clothing and accessories by world-renowned contemporary artists and designers. Everything on sale is one of a kind or limited edition, and exclusive to House of Voltaire. All sales directly support arts and education charity Studio Voltaire’s exhibition, learning, and studio programs.
